Upper Perk Hometown Hero Banner Program

NEW for 2026! We are expanding the Hometown Hero Program to recognize our brave first responders, firefighters, police officers, EMT's and more alongside our veterans. This special program, established in 2017 by the UPV Chamber and PerkUp, honors local heroes while building community pride across East Greenville, Pennsburg, Red Hill Boroughs and Upper Hanover Township.
Banners are $185 for a two-year cycle. If you would like to recognize a family member, neighbor or friend who you see as a Hometown Hero or have interest in providing a sponsorship, please download the program guidelines, banner application and sponsorship form below. Applications are now available for the 2026 Program. We are offering the opportunity to install your Hometown Hero Banner for an additional year for $75 after it has been retired (two installation rotations) from the program.

Mission: Honor and recognize those servicemen and women who have ties to the Upper Perkiomen Valley who have served or given their lives to our country in the United States Armed Forces as well as local first responder heroes.
