From historic steeples accenting picturesque landscapes, to congregations and organizations joining together to provide a meal the first Monday of every month, faith continues to have a strong presence in the Upper Perkiomen Valley. Just as religion played a significant role in shaping our culture from its beginnings, the churches that exist today are an integral part of a tight-knit community bound together in generosity and caring. The members and clergy of all denominations dedicate substantial amounts of prayer, time, energy, materials and financial support to the social service agencies within our area and far beyond. While we are faced with new challenges and continued shifts in our lives, the rich heritage of faith in the Valley remains a welcome beacon of hope in our ever-changing times.
