MCCC Dental Hygiene Clinic to Offer Free Sealant Program for Children

October 17, 2017, Blue Bell, Pa.—Montgomery County Community College and the Tierra L. Dobry Foundation will co-sponsor a Children’s Dental Sealant Program from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017.

The sealant program is a community outreach effort during which free oral examinations and sealant placement will be provided for children ages 6-14.  Space is limited, and examinations are by appointment only on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please make an appointment by calling 215-641-6483.

A dental sealant is a clear, preventive coating placed on permanent back teeth in order to prevent dental decay.  During the Clinic’s sealant programs, licensed dental hygienists in consultation with licensed dentists provide the preventive services, and the College’s dental hygiene students provide the auxiliary support services.

The Dental Hygiene Clinic is located in the Health Sciences Center near the Cathcart Road entrance of the Central Campus located at 340 DeKalb Pike in Blue Bell.  For additional information, call 215-641-6483 or visit www.mc3.edu.
