YMCA of the Upper Perkiomen Valley

 

The purpose of the Upper Perkiomen Valley YMCA is to improve the quality of life in our community by offering programs, services and facilities that promote strong families, good health, fitness, wellness, community services, youth and adult development and equality for all.  Our main facility, in the Pennsburg Square Shopping Center includes state-of-the-art cardio equipment, strength training equipment with Olympic free weights, locker rooms, program rooms for classes of all ages, and a child watch area.  The YMCA also operates at various sites in the Upper Perkiomen Valley including its 48-acre Kistler-Bitting Park located in Upper Hanover Township.  This beautiful recreational area is home to the Upper Perk Otters Swim Team, Camp YOMECA, the Xtreme Y Skate Park, the Upper Perkiomen Youth Baseball Association and two outdoor pools.  Our before and after school childcare is held on site at both Marlborough and Hereford Elementary Schools. We offer swim lessons, recreational swimming and adult aquatics classes at the Perkiomen School Pool.  It is our promise to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities.
